Selma Fehrmann has a new book out on the subject, entitled Happiness at Work: The Essential Factor for Corporate Success. Currently available in the original German, there are plans afoot for English and Dutch versions too. Watch this space! 

 

Life is too short to be unhappy at work. Selma Fehrmann encourages us to consciously choose workplace happiness, leading by positive example and actively contributing to an improved work environment. Her book explores what makes people happy at work and how happiness contributes to organizational success. Inspiring case studies from pioneering companies and HR startups demonstrate how other organizations have promoted workplace happiness. Additionally, it provides practical and scientifically grounded templates and methods for direct use in team discussions, change initiatives, or employee development. Interviews with experts from the fields of science, leadership, human resources, and change management complement the book.
