Written by iOpenerInstitute | Jul 26, 2026, 11:00:00 PM

How Moody’s and iOpener partnered to strengthen the commercial capabilities of Relationship Managers across London, Hong Kong and New York.

iOpener partnered with Moody’s Ratings to design and deliver a series of highly customised,

in-person learning experiences for nearly 200 Relationship Managers across three global regions. Recognising that each market faces different commercial realities, we worked closely with local stakeholders to tailor the content, examples and discussions to the specific needs of each audience.

Programme Focus

•    Identifying and pursuing cross-selling opportunities
•    Clearly differentiating Moody’s value proposition in competitive conversations
•    Developing effective gap and account growth strategies
•    Adapting communication styles for different stakeholders, from C-suite executives to technical and operational decision-makers
•    Building confidence and consistency in client conversations

Approach and Impact

Our approach combined practical frameworks, market-relevant scenarios and highly interactive learning experiences, ensuring participants could immediately apply the skills in their day-to-day client engagements.

The result was a globally consistent programme that remained locally relevant, equipping Relationship Managers with practical tools to deepen relationships, uncover opportunities and create greater commercial impact.
